Question 348945: the floor of a gazebo is in the shape of a regular polygon. The measure of an exterior angle of the gazebo floor is one third the measure of an interior angle.
How many sides does the gazebo have? Show work or explain in words how this was determined.
* There is a diagram to this question.
In words it looks like... if you turn the paper to landscape form, the diagram looks like a k without the bottom \ then turning he paper portrait there is an "x" on the left side if the diagram and "x" over 3 on the right.

Question 366958: The radius of a circle is 23.
I believe this makes the circumference of the circle equal to 1661.06
A regular polygon must be circumscribed about this circle.
The length of one side of this polygon is 2.6
How do I find the number of sides of this circumscribed polygon?
Is there going to be a portion of the circumference that will have to have a side length a little shorter, so that all sides of the polygon are tangent?
Thank you for any help you can give.
Sincerely,
Janet
