Question 39167: how do you find the area of a heptagon being given that the perimeter is 350? the question doesn't seem to have a given apothem so I guess that needs to be done as well. I tried to find the sides if the figuer by dividing the perimeter by the number of side and got 50 to find the internal angels I tried 360 divided by the number of sides and got 51.4. when it comes to tan and such I get confused.

Question 60754: This is a similar polygon question involving a pentagon. I couldn't find the topic in Algebra but it's from an algebra class.
Need to find x of the segment vw
The two pentagons are similar. The first one the the sides for Q to R is 4 and R to S is 3 and S to T is 5 and T to P is 3 and P to Q is 2. These sides will somehow apply with the second pentagon. The sides that are suppose to be the comparison for the VW I think is the PQ side. The other sides for the second Pentagon that they want the first compared to and the side needs to be solved for has points of W to X 6.4 and X to Y 4.8 and Y to Z is 8 and Z to V is 4.8.
Please help me solve the VW. I need to get this answer ASAP tonight. I have been up most of the night trying to figure it out.

Question 9186: A quadrilateral with sides of 12 (top), 15 (right side), 25 (bottom), and x (left side). The question is, what is the value of x?
Inside the quadrilateral is a circle, with a piece of the cirle touching each side of the quadrilateral at uneven invtervals.
No angles have been identified, and there are no obvious right angles.
We played with the idea of trying to find a radius value within the circle, but that went nowhere. Personally, I think the circle is a red herring.
