How many diagonals,leaving from one vertex only, has a hexagon have?

Two points determina line.
There are five vertices other than the one you are drawing lines from.
With the starting point they determine 5 lines.
But two of those lines are sides of the hexagon.
So there are three diagonals that can be draw from each vertex.
