In a given regular polygon the ratio of the interior angle to the exterior angle is 7:2. How many sides are in polygon?
----
Let the exterior angle be "x"
Then the interior angle is 180-x
------
180-x/x = 7/2
7x = 360-2x
5x = 360
x = 72 degrees
------
# of sides = # of exterior angles = 360/72 = 5
