Question 629740: how many sides does a polygon hav eif the measure of each interior angle is twice the measure of each exterior angle?
Answer by reviewermath(1029)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x = interior angle
so 180 - x = exterior angle
x = 2(180 - x)
x = 360 - 2x
3x = 360
x = 120
interior angle = 120 degrees each
exterior angle = 60 degrees each
number of sides = 360/60 = 6
The number of sides of a regular polygon is 6.
