Question 369354: find the sum of the measures of the angles of a octagon
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The exterior angles always add to 360º
Assuming it's a regular octagon, each exterior angle = 45º (360/8)
Each interior = 135º
8*135 = 1080º
--------------
The sum of the interior angles = (n-2)*180 = 6*180 = 1080º
