Question 364610: how would you find the sum of angles in a 50 gon?

I would subtract 2 from 50, then multiply it by 180 for degrees.
------------
Or, find the exterior angle = 360/50 = 7.2 degs (the sum of exterior angles for ALL polygons is 360º)
Then subtract that from 180 degs, = each angle
Multiply that by 100, then divide by 2.
