sq rt of 648 =25.46
25.45 * 25.45=648 sq cm

the diagonal of a square is the hypotenuse with the legs as the sides of the square
2a^2=c^2
2a^2=36^2
2a^2=36*36
a^2=18*18*2
a^2 also happens to be the area
so the area is 18*18*2
