then

2x%5E2+=+100
x%5E2+=+50
x+=+sqrt%2850%29
x+=+5sqrt%282%29

Area is then:
x * x
= 5sqrt(2) * 5sqrt(2)
= (5sqrt(2))^2
= 25*2
= 50 square units
