Question 193097: Draw three different nonconvex polygons. When you walk around a polygon, at each vertex you need to turn either right (clockwise) or left (counterclockwise). A turn to the left is measured by a positive number of degrees and a turn to the right by a negative number of degrees. Find the sum of the measures of the turn angles of the polygons you drew. Assume you start at a vertex facing in the direction of a side, walk around the polygon, and end up at the same vertex facing in the same direction as when you started.

please I need help I dont think you have to draw this I believe it is 360degrees
But I am not ure how to explain how i came up with it.
Thank you

You are right about sum of exterior angles = 360 always.
a rough sketch is perhaps best way to explain external angles
draw a point,,,,and just a quadrilateral for example
pick one vertex of quadrilateral,,,, on point draw exterior angle to match.
go to next vertex,,,,draw that exterior angle on point sketch,,,(one side should match previous angle)
go to next vertex,,, draw that ext angle on point drawing
if you progress around quadrilateral,,,and mark only ext angles on point dwg,,
you should get back to beginning,,
on a point drawing if we rotate around once and come back to beginning, we go 360 degrees
the number of sides does not matter, nor does any + or - rotations, because we always go around once, and come back to beginning.
