180%28n-2%29=S Start with the given equation


180%28n-2%29=2340 Plug in S=2340



180n-360=2340 Distribute


180n=2340%2B360Add 360 to both sides


180n=2700 Combine like terms on the right side


n=%282700%29%2F%28180%29 Divide both sides by 180 to isolate n



n=15 Divide
