Question 1018207: A(-2,1) B(4,4) C(6,1) D(4,-2) are the vertices of a kite. Prove that BD is perpendicular to AC.
I found the gradients are both equal to 0, so are they still perpendicular? Don't both the gradients have to be equal to -1?

This should make it clear. BD has an undefined slope, i.e. a denominator of 0. AC has 0 slope. These are perpendicular.
