checkpoint is: 1
i got for the x intercept (3,0)
i got for the y intercept (0, -4)
but i am having troubles with the checkpoint (1,?)

AB=2x+5, BC=3x-2, AC=4x-8
(The answer the book has is X > 3, but I am not sure how)

Question 393303: A 25 meter long diagonal piece of wood runs across a rectangular platform that has a length-to-width ratio of 4:3. What are the dimensions of the platform. I was thinking that you have to set up a proportion like 4/3 = 25/x, but I'm not sure if this is correct or not.
