The only way to solve this problem is if the hexagon is a regular hexagon. Then all the sides are the same length. If it's not regular, knowing the length of one side isn't enough to find the perimeter.


Assuming it is regular:


The hexagon as 6 sides. The perimeter is 6*s = 6(9y+1) = (54y+6) km
