find the equation of a line that passes through (-3,-5); and has slope -(7)/(2).
---------
Form: y = mx + b
Substitute and solve for "b":
-5 = (-7/2)(-3) + b
b = -10/2 - (21/2)
----
b = -31/2
--------
Equation:
y = (-7/2)x - (21/2)
