Plot the point.
Then draw the vertical thru the point.
Do you see that it passes thru all points where x = 3?
Equation: x = 3

b. The line containing P(-4,5)and parallel to the x-axis
Plot the point.
Draw a line thru it parallel to the x-axis.
Do you see that it passes thru all the points
where y = 5?
