Standard form of equation for straight line: y=mx+b, m=slope, and b= y-intercept
For given line,
y=5x+b
To find b, plug in x and y from point (2,-5) then solve for b
2=5*-5+b
2=-25+b
b=-27
Equation:
y=5x-27 (ans)
