Collinear points are all in the same line (linear means line). Coplanar points are all in the same plane.

collinear :
•Three or more points that lie on the same straight line are called to be Collinear.
coplanar:
•A set of points, lines, line segments, rays or any other geometrical shapes that lie on the same plane are said to be Coplanar.
