The length of the rectangle is = 3cms
and the width of the rectangle is = 2cms
Therefore perimeter of the rectangle = 2(length +width)
=2X(3+2)
=2X5
=10 cms
Note: Please draw a rough sketch of a rectangle ABCD
with AB = length = 3cms and BC = width = 2 cms.
Then,CD is also the length =3 and Da is also the width =2
Therefore perimeter of the rectangle =length AB +width BC +length CD + width DA
= 3 +2 + 3+2
=10 cms
