Question 283988: I need help in making a prediction on a line graph. If the speed of a vehicle is
40,gas mileage 28; speed
45 gas mileage 25, speed
50 gas mileage 21, speed
55 gas mileage 18, and speed=
60 gas mileage 16. I need to predict the gas mileage with a speed of
65 mi/h.
How do I make this prediction? Please advise. Thank you.
Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
plot speed as x and gas mileage as y
and find y for x=65
I would guess about 13 or 14 for the gas mileage
