Question 282100: Which of the following equations passes through the points (2,4) and (-3,-6)?
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2,4) and (-3,-6)
Y=mX+b m=slope & b= the Y intercept.
m=(Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)=(-6-4)/(-3-2)=-10/-5=2
4=2*2+b
4=4+b
b=4-4
b=0 the Y intercept.
Y=2X IS THE LINE EQUATION.
