Can you please help me write an equation for a line that passes through point (5,3) and is parallel to the line of x= -2?
.
The line x=-2
is simply a vertical line that crosses the x-axis at -2
.
Therefore, a line parallel to this has to be a vertical line thus the vertical line would be:
x = 5 (this is the equation of the new line parallel to x=-2 and crosses (5,3))
