Pick any number you like for x. Substitute that value into your equation in place of x. Do the arithmetic. The value you picked for x is the first coordinate of your first point. The value you calculated for y is the second coordinate of your first point.
Repeat the above process 4 more times using a different value for x each time.

4-1=3
4-5=-1
4-7=-2
