If you make a paper triangle, and rip it into three parts so each part contains one vertex angle, and arrange each vertex angle so they meet at all one point and the neighboring sides touch, then this will form a straight angle which includes the meeting vertices. The sum of the measures of the interior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees.
