Question 1080443: Write an equation in point-slope form of the line that passes through the given point and with the given slope m.
(−6,4);m=4

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have a point and a slope given, so what you need is
the point-slope formula:

In place of y1, substitute 4,
In place of m, substitute 4
In place of x1, substitute (-6),
Don't substitute anything for y or x. Leave them as x and y

Then simplify to the form .
