Question 1012162: The image of the origin under a certain translation is the point (-2, -6). What are the coordiates of the image of point (-3, -2) under the same translation?

 So the translation is (a,b).
On the origin,
(0,0)+(a,b)=(-2,-6)
So,
(a,b)=(-2,-6)
So then find the translation of (-3,-2),
(-3,-2)+(-2,-6)=(-5,-8)
