Question 883571: Working on Venn diagrams, I was given the question: "How many elements are in the set U'." With the following information in a two-circle Venn:
A = 37
B = 33
A intersect B = 14
U = 40
I know U' means the complement of U, but does that mean my answer is 0 or everything contained within the circles and exclude U?
