Question 880095: how many groups of four can you get out of six people
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6*5*4*3 = 30*12 = 360
There are 360 ways to pick a group of 4 (from 6 people) if order matters.
-------------------------------------------------------
Since order doesn't matter, we divide by 4! = 4*3*2*1 = 24 to get
360/24 = 15
-------------------------------------------------------
There are 15 different groups. Order does not matter.
