Question 763541: A portion of a test contains 4 multiple-choice questions. For each question, a student may leave the answer blank or select 1 of the 4 answers given. How many different ways can the student respond to the questions?
Answer by ramkikk66(644) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Each question can be answered in 5 ways (One of the 4 options plus the blank option). So the 4 questions can be totally answered in 5*5*5*5 = 625 ways.
