Question 743771: How many patterns of 5 children in a row are there if every girl is next to at least one other girl?
Answer by Ed Parker(21)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This cannot be worked because we are not given how many girls and how many boys, and the answer would be different for different numbers of boys and girls. Or if they are all boys, or only one girl, it is impossible. You can tell how many boys and girls there are in the thank you note and I'll answer.
