Question 475194: How many different three-digit odd numbers use only the digits 0,1,2,3,4?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20065) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0,1,2,3,4
Choose the first digit 4 ways, as either 1,2,3,4 (1st digit can't be 0)
Coose the second digit any of 5 ways, as either 0,1,2,3,4
Chose the third digit any of 2 ways, either 1 or 3 (the only odd digits)
That's 4 = 40 ways
