(4x+y)^6

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

4th term of (4x+y)6

The formula for the kth term of

(A + B)N is

C(N,k-1)AN-k+1Bk-1

So substitute A = 4x, B = y, k = 4, N = 6

C(6,4-1)(4x)6-4+1y4-1

C(6,3)(4x)³y³

20(4x)³y³

20*4³x³y³

20*64x³y³

1280x³y³
