The first question may be answered in 2 ways.
For each way of answering the first question, the second question may be answered in 2 ways.
Hence the first 2 questions may be answered in 2 x 2 = ways.

For each way of answering the first 2 questions, the third question may be answered in 2 ways.
Hence the first 3 questions may be answered in 2 x = ways.
Following the same way, all the 10 questions may also be answered in = 1024 ways.
