Question 387020: the probability that both Barb and Bob are both on the same committee of 4 which is choosen from their class of 10 people is?
Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

total no. of ways to form committee of 4 = 10C4 = 210

total no. of ways to form committee when both are on the same committee = 8C2 = 28
(because 2 of 10 people already chosen)

required probability = 28/210 = 2/15
