There are 8 true or false questions on a quiz. In how many different ways can they be answered? I got 2 to the 8 = 256
1. T F
2. T F
3. T F
4. T F
5. T F
6. T F
7. T F
8. T F
if you do this as a binary (base 2) number where 0 is F, and 1 is T, the largest number you can get is 2^8 - 1 or 255, so yes the answer is 2^8 or 256
