Question 281958: P(x) = x^3-6x^2+11x-6, 3 is a zero, find all zeros
Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^3-6x^2+11x-6
if 3 is a zero then (x-3) is a factor
divide x^3-6x^2+11x-6 by (x-3)
and get
x^2-3x+2
which you can factor or use the quadratic formula to find the other zeros
(x-1)*(x-2)
the other zeros are 1 and 2
