use combination formula: nCr=n!/r!(n-r)!

Number of Committees = (10 C 3) * (12 C 2)

Number of Committees = (10!/3!(10-3)!) * (12!/2!(12-2)!)

Number of Committees = (10!/3!7!) * (12!/2!10!)

Number of Committees = ((10*9*8)/3!) * ((12*11)/2!)

Number of Committees = ((10*9*8)/6)* ((12*11)/2)

Number of Committees = 120*66

Number of Committees = 7920
