Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 x nP2 + 50= 2nP2 is?
2[(n)!/(n-2)!] + 50 = [(2n)!/(2n-2)!]
2[n(n-1)(n-2)!/(n-2)!] + 50 = [(2n)(2n-1)(2n-2)!/(2n-2)!]
----------------------------
2[n(n-1)] + 50 = (2n)(2n-1)
n(n-1) + 25 = n(2n-1)
n^2 - n + 25 = 2n^2 - n
n^2 = 25
n = 5
