The number of combinations of 15 things taken 9 at a time is given by

Note that 15! = 15 * 14 * 13 * 12 * 11 * 10 * 9!, and 15 - 9 = 6, so:



(4 * 3 = 12, so eliminate 4 and 3 in the denominator and 12 in the numerator)

(6 is 2*3, 3*5 is 15 eliminating that factor, leaving a 2 and a 2 in the denominator, 2 into 14 is 7 and 2 into 10 is 5)
