If the problem means "a row" as the ordered set, then the answer is  342*341*340,  and you can use your calculator 
to get the numerical value.


But if the order does not matter, then the team of 3 contestants can be selected by   =  ways from the audience.


In the first case we have deal with PERMUTATIONS.


In the second case, we consider COMBINATIONS.
