12 ways for the president position;

11 ways for the vice president position;

10 ways for the treasure position;  and

9 ways for the secretary position.



In all, there are  12*11*10*9 = 11880 ways.    ANSWER



The order is important (the order does matter) - so we use permutations and do not use combinations in this problem.
