Question 1096968: How many ways are there to pick any 5 cards from 52 cards, that 2 cards are the same denomination or 3 different numbers?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A problem such as this should contain the words "at least", "at most",
or "exactly". When these words are omitted the problem is ambiguous.

For instance, this particular problem:

How many ways are there to pick any 5 cards from 52 cards,
that ______ 2 cards are the same denomination or ______ 3
different numbers?

would have 3×3=9 different answers because you could fill each
blank in 3 different ways, "at least", "at most", or "exactly".
