There are 15 ways to choose the first student. After the student is chosen, they can't be picked again leaving 14 choices for the second spot in line. Then there are 13 choices for the third spot in line. This pattern counts down til you get to 1
We have these values: 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
From here you multiply out all of the values from 15 all the way down to 1
15*14*13*12*11*10*9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1 = 1,307,674,368,000
So there are 1,307,674,368,000 ways to line the fifteen students up
This number is a little over 1.3 trillion.
