Question 1079899: An employer interviews 10 people for 6 management positions in a company, and
5 of the 10 people are men. If all 10 are qualified, in how many ways can the employer fill the management positions if exactly 3 are men?

If 5 of the 10 are men, then the other 5 are women. So 5 men, choose 3 is 5 choose 3, which is 10. The other 3 positions are filled by 3 of the 5 women, so the number of different ways of filling the jobs is 10 x 10, or 100 different ways. ☺☺☺☺
