Question 1007048: what is the answer to (2x+3)^3
the question is "expand the power of the binomial"
we are working on combinations.. please help im stuck!!! your help is much appreciated

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2x+3)^3 = (2x+3)(2x+3)(2x+3)
(3C0)(2x)330 + (3C1)(2x)231 + (3C2)(2x)132 + (3C3)(2x)033

(1)(2x)3(1) + (3)(2x)23 + (3)(2x)(9) + (1)(1)(27)

(2x)3 + 9(2x)2 + (27)(2x) + 27

23x3 + 9*22x2 + 54x + 27

8x3 + 9*4x2 + 54x + 27

8x3 + 36x2 + 54x + 27
