I solved this question approximately using the check and guess system. I did: 40500* 1.035, then I did: 40550*1.035 then 40570*1.035 then 40580* 1.035. So the approximate answer is 40580, but is there an easier, exact way to answer this question. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this question just ticks me off.
