Question 267823: Hello. I have a problem here that I'm having trouble with. It's a word problem. It says:Sonya made a scale model of the new school in her town. She used a scale of 3/4in.=1ft. If the height of the school model is 48 inches, What is the actual height of the school?
I tried it and I divided 48 by 3/4 then multiplying by 12 because there's 12 in. in a foot. Am I right? And if I'm not can you tell me what I did wrong?
