The median income in Marion County rose from $22,000 to $23,100. During the same time period, the median price of a house increased from $140,000 to $147,500. Which experienced the greater percent increase: salaries or housing costs(or were they the same)?
My daughter-in-law works at Eddie Bauer and gets a 15% employee and family discount on all purchases. I found a $65.00 shirt in their catalog that’s advertised at 10% off. However, I also found the same shirt offered at their factory outlet store at 25% off. Will I save money buying it from the factory outlet store at 25% off, or having my daughter-in-law order it at 10% off, then use her 15% off discount(or is the price the same either way?) If one way is cheaper than the other, how much will I save?
