Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Dividend = divisor * quotient + remainder
x(x-12)-3(x-12)=0
(x-12)(x-3)=0
x = 12 OR 3
Answer by dj8055(1) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x+1)^2=(x-2)*16+(x-3)
(x+1)^2=16x-32+x-3
x^2+2x+1=17x-35
x^2-15x+36=0
x^2-12x-3x+36=0
x(x-12)-3(x-12)=0
(x-12)(x-3)=0
x=12 OR 3
