Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5:4:3 ---> 5x, 4x, 3x
5x+4x+3x = 12x
12x = 36 which means x = 3
The largest share is the 5x portion. 5x = 5*3 = 15 ounces is the amount of the largest share.
